Check out arrested driving instructor for sitting an exam for three people
According to Rwanda National Police (RNP), the suspect identified as Schadrack Mayisha claimed the candidates would pay him after passing the written tests.
“The police officer involved in this case, who is suspected to have helped Mayisha to enter the examination room without being checked, has also been arrested,” Kabera said.
Mayisha is currently in the custody of the Rwanda Investigation Bureau (RIB), as criminal investigation continues.
A driving instructor is in detention after police caught him attempting to sit for the driving test for three candidates at the Muhima exams centre in Nyarugenge District.
CP John Bosco Kabera, the RNP Spokesperson, said police invigilators at the Computer-Based Driving Tests Centre found Mayisha with registration codes of three candidates and arrested him on the spot.
